1. Service Description
FocusFR provides browser-based resume formatting and document-processing tools. The current service includes a client-side Resume Studio and an Image-to-PDF utility:
- Resume Studio: A browser-based resume editor and formatting tool. Users manually enter their resume information. Resume drafts are stored locally in the user's browser where applicable. Resume formatting and PDF generation occur client-side.
- Image-to-PDF: A browser-based utility that converts user-selected JPEG, PNG, and WebP images into PDF documents. Images are processed client-side in the browser. Images are not persistently uploaded to FocusFR cloud storage.
2. User Responsibilities
When using FocusFR, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating your resume.
- Ensure you have the necessary rights or permissions to use images and documents you process through FocusFR.
- Ensure you have permission to use any third-party content you upload or convert.
- Users are responsible for reviewing the accuracy, completeness, and suitability of documents they create or export using FocusFR.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Not use FocusFR for any unlawful activity.
3. Prohibited Uses
Users must not use FocusFR to:
- Create fraudulent credentials, academic degrees, professional licenses, or employment records.
- Impersonate another person.
- Upload or process content they do not have the right to use.
- Distribute malware, malicious code, or harmful payloads.
- Interfere with, attack, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Abuse automated requests in a way that materially degrades the service.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract proprietary source code except where permitted by applicable law.
- Use the service for unlawful purposes.
4. Copyright & User-Provided Content
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use any text, images, documents, or other materials they process through FocusFR.
FocusFR does not claim ownership of user-provided content. FocusFR provides tools for formatting and processing that content.
Because FocusFR's client-side tools are designed to process documents and images in the user's browser rather than publicly host them, FocusFR does not operate a public repository of user-uploaded documents or images.

5. Intellectual Property
FocusFR's software, name, logo, branding, website design, and code belong to FocusFR or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users receive permission to use the service in accordance with these Terms. Users may not copy, resell, white-label, or redistribute the FocusFR application itself without authorization. FocusFR does not claim ownership over user resumes or user images.
6. License to Use the Service
FocusFR grants users a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable right to access and use the service for its intended purpose. Users may use the documents they create for their own personal or professional purposes.
7. Service Availability
FocusFR is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of the service when necessary.
8. Employment Disclaimer
FocusFR does not guarantee employment, interviews, hiring decisions, compensation, or any particular job-search outcome. Employers and recruiters independently make hiring decisions. Use of a FocusFR-generated resume does not guarantee that an applicant will pass an applicant tracking system or receive an interview.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FocusFR and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
10. Session & Access Termination
Because the core FocusFR tools operate without requiring a centralized user account, access to the tools does not depend on maintaining a password account. However, FocusFR reserves the right to restrict or block access, including blocking abusive automated traffic, attacks, or other violations of these Terms.
11. Age Requirements
FocusFR is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. By using FocusFR, you represent that you are at least 13 years old, or that you meet the minimum age required to use the service in your jurisdiction.
FocusFR does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to principles of conflicts of law. In the event of any dispute or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the service, the parties agree to seek resolution through good-faith discussion prior to initiating formal legal proceedings.
13. Non-Affiliation
FocusFR is an independent resume and document-formatting service. FocusFR is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by employers, applicant tracking system vendors, recruitment agencies, or other third-party organizations unless expressly stated.
